Markers → live timing

With just one marker, all included curves shift together.

Ease → independent halves

Each handle affects only its own half. Handles need a span about 60 screen pixels wide; zoom in to reveal them.

Install & start

Requires Blender 5.2+. Drag the downloaded extension ZIP into Blender and confirm installation. Keep the ZIP as downloaded.

Use the Retime button in the Graph Editor or Dope Sheet header, or the sidebar tab. Current version: 2.4.2.

Which keys change?

All keys on included editable, unlocked curves change, even when the keys are not selected. Use editor visibility filters or Selected Curves Only to choose the scope.

One marker shifts them all. Outside smooth zones, keys beyond the outer markers follow the nearest outer marker’s offset; stationary outer markers leave those keys stationary.

Keys can land on subframes. Snap Markers on Frame snaps markers, not keys. A marker already on a subframe can retain its fractional offset when snapping is enabled.

Smoothing & ease limits

Smoothing changes nearby key timing while marker guides stay fixed. Wide zones and big speed changes can shift keys by more than one frame.

Each completed retime becomes the latest live smoothing target. Undo, redo, or insertion of new keys clears that target; saved zones then apply to the next retime. After adding or deleting markers, complete another retime before adjusting zones.

Each ease handle affects only its own half of a span. Handles need about 60 screen pixels of span width. Ease controls reset to neutral on release; the timing change stays baked.
